We are looking for an individual who can bring our products to the next level and knows how to deliver great User Experiences. The ideal candidate carefully analyzes the needs of our clients and stakeholders, has a broad and sound technical knowledge and good understanding of agile software development. You will focus on building the tools that our clients require to take full advantage of our global payment capabilities. With your technical expertise, you will influence the short and long-term strategy of our Products. You identify new features, improvements and opportunities and you maintain a prioritized backlog. You define the scope, oversee execution and ensure that we are prepared to successfully launch. This role is highly visible, interacting with Software Developers, Architects and peers and networking within the PayPal organization. Attention to detail, the ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and a knack for generating practical, actionable insights are a must. The primary responsibilities are outlined below; this list should be viewed as a starting point, as the position will evolve and grow according to the successful candidate’s interests and aptitude.


  • Create requirements for great user experiences.
  • Translate business requirements and user needs into tangible interaction design through detailed user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Oversee, and have accountability for the successful completion of assigned projects.
  • Take an ownership role in maintaining a prioritized backlog of outstanding issues and new features.
  • Work with a team in the agile software development cycle from story grooming through delivery, functional testing and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with architects and engineers to present the vision, explain requirements, and to ensure technical feasibility.
  • Define and document new requirements, needs, and features within Confluence in the form of Use Cases, UML and other relevant structured requirements documentation.


  • A post-secondary degree, in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 8 years of work experience in Software Development and/or Product Management.
  • Must have knowledge and interest in current software development trends, mobile technologies and APIs.
  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines and standards.
