PayPal Treasury is seeking a driven and analytical Treasury professional with relevant experience to join our EMEA Treasury team. In this role, you will establish world class Treasury management standards, and drive processes that enable PayPal to scale with its rapid growth while ensuring strong controls. The successful candidate will participate in regional and global projects that will help the established PayPal Treasury function in Luxembourg to transform into a leaner, more efficient unit as it supports a business growing at 15%+ rate on an annual basis.

A typical day for the Treasury Manager - Luxembourg will include:

  • Supporting balance sheet and capital planning, including regulatory ratio compliance monitoring, for relevant EMEA entities
  • Supporting management of multicurrency notional pool and further enhancement to activities of PayPal’s International Treasury Centre, including preparation of management reporting pack
  • Managing approvals for and adjust intercompany funding between PayPal entities, where required
  • Preparing financial and non-financial Treasury metrics reporting
  • Supporting cash flow forecasting, daily cash management / positioning and monthly inter-company settlement process for key entities in EMEA region
  • Supporting review of EMEA legal entity structure and manage further capitalization and/or liquidations

What does Success Look Like?  

  • Be EMEA contact point for global colleagues to support related Treasury management system and bank system administration activities
  • Oversight ofPayPal’s banking relationships in region in collaboration with global teams
  • Lead/ assist with special treasury projects as assigned

About You  

  • You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • You have relevant years of work experience in Treasury management, accounting, finance or banking
  • You have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
  • You have familiarity with global liquidity management and risk management structures
  • You should be able to work well with cross functional teams and external partners
  • You have strong internal customer focus, with a desire to exceed expectations
  • You have experience in cash forecasting and modelling inputs using advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • You have experience with understanding complex process flows and driving process improvements
  • You have demonstrated understanding of relational data and using analytics to drive solutions
  • You have previous experience working in a matrixed organisation
  • You have proven ability to work with minimal direction
