PayPal Treasury is seeking a driven and analytical Treasury analyst with relevant experience to support our China activity at GoPay as part of our international treasury team. Successful candidates will need the ability to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment remaining focused on risk, bottom line results and to comply with the requirements of the local regulators.

  • To support the business growth in China through cash forecasting, and balance sheet and capital planning
  • Work with our Global and Domestic Banking partners in China to ensure GoPay continues to have an effective and efficient network in which to support cashflow requirements
  • Collaborate with our key internal stakeholders to ensure Treasury is involved in the key decision making processes and to ensure correct support can be provided on new initiatives
  • Monitor daily cash requirements, and develop mid/long term cashflow forecasts to ensure available liquidity for operations at all times
  • Maintain rolling cashflow forecast for GoPay’s liquidity needs and analysis and understanding of drivers behind daily balance fluctuations
  • Drive efficient Inter-company funding arrangements in coordination with other teams
  • Analyze factors influencing business trends and client funds, both macro and micro factors
  • Work with the treasury manager to identify opportunities for investment or revenue generation
  • Monitoring local regulatory ratios, particularly capital and liquidity requirements, and establishing action plans to demonstrate continued compliance within China
  • Develop and Maintain key Treasury reports to monitor and track the key metrics in China
  • Prepare presentations and reports to Senior Management and Board of Directors
  • Operate within the Treasury Governance policies at all times and be aware of individual responsibilities around risk management i.e. Liquidity risk, FX Risk, Counterparty risk, etc.
