PayPal is a global company operating in the competitive and dynamic Payments Industry. The Treasury Function plays a critical role in our Strategic Planning, Product operations and product development life cycle. The Global Cash Management Analyst (“GCM Analyst”) is charged with, among other things, the day to day management of Corporate and/or Product Cash. The GCM Analyst is also responsible for supporting the execution of key strategic initiatives impacting the movement of money in partnership with our Treasury and Product Teams, as well as enhancing operational efficiency in partnership with our Transformation team.

The GCM Analyst, reporting directly to the Global Cash Management Corporate or Product Cash Managers, drives cash management to ensure operational liquidity availability and compliance to global regulatory ratios. The GCM Analyst’s responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Daily management of cash balances to ensure operational liquidity to meet PayPal’s financial obligations to Customers, vendors, and service providers
  • Ensure compliance of Global Regulatory Ratios in partnership with Treasury Global Risk & Legal Entity Management team
  • Effectively manage cash positions to optimize investment opportunities in conjunction with Treasury Asset & Liability Management team
  • Forecast cash positions and liquidity needs in partnership with various Treasury functions
  • Support integration of acquired entities into Treasury global systems and processes
  • Partner with the Treasury Product Enablement team to understand the key product initiatives that will impact operational cash volume and/or require changes to the Treasury cash management infrastructure and capabilities in region
  • Support and facilitate Regulatory, Financial audit requests
  • Partner with GCM Operations team to ensure integrity of data in Treasury Systems and Applications; and support updates / enhancements to systems and processes
  • Drive efficiency of day to day operations, exploring automation and transformation opportunities
