Threat Intelligence Manager


  • Lead and manage the Threat Intelligence team's day-to-day operations to monitor, track and analyze Threat Actor Groups and emerging threats in service of the enterprise's defense.

  • Integrate Threat Intelligence projects into existing Cyber Defense and Vulnerability Management functions, including ad-hoc analysis requests and purple team exercises.

  • Thorough understanding of the intelligence lifecycle, procedures and concepts within OSINT, online research tools, and cyber threats trends.

  • Maintain team resources to support business & operational needs

  • Establish and sustain service level goals with essential business partners while exploring opportunities to improve upon them

  • Program metrics and reporting structures collect and analyze data for precisely timely reporting of activity.

  • Drive prioritization and focus across several cross-functional service areas to support Intelligence-driven operations.

  • Experience using and managing a Threat Intelligence Platform, building integrations with these platforms, and supporting internal customers in their use of these platforms.

  • Define core competencies of intelligence practitioners to ensure the ongoing development of inner resources.

  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within an organization.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity, Electrical and Computer Engineering or relevant/equivalent experience working in Information Security

  • 5-8+ years working within Information Security supporting/performing incident response, Red Teaming, threat hunting, threat intelligence, forensics, or similarly related experience

  •  3-5+ years experience managing a threat intelligence, incident response, or similar team.

  • 3-5+ years of experience hiring and managing a team of threat analysts/engineers and defining processes to support investigations, and organizational decision making

  • Ability to build positive relationships internally and externally, in-person and virtually

  • Detailed understanding of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and/or the Cyber Kill Chain

  • Demonstrated ability to identify, coordinate and respond to security incidents using commercial and/or open-source technologies

  • Experience with Incident Response methodology in investigations, and the groups behind targeted attacks and tactics, techniques, and procedures

  •  Advanced understanding of attacks impacting a cloud native environment

  • Ability to summarize events/incidents effectively to different constituencies such as legal counsel, executive management and technical staff, both in written and verbal forms.
