The Third Party Risk Analyst will support the Third Party Management Program Office which enables the Company to govern, monitor, and mitigate Risks to gain increased value from Third Parties throughout the life cycle. The person we are seeking must be self-motivated, have experience in Risk/Compliance and have proven ability to build relationships/partnerships and work cross-functionally to drive time sensitive deliverables.

Support the Director of the Global Third Party Risk Management Program Office (TPMPO) in the following (but not limited to):  

  • Support and organize meetings with Center of Excellence, Internal Control Partners, Risk Control Officers and Compliance Officers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of TPMPO program and initiatives.
  • Facilitate and support the yearly Risk Assessment process and control documentation.
  • Review/update TPMPO issues on the quarterly Finance report.
  • Support, document Third Party Management Annual Risk and Compliance initiatives across the organization.
  • Identify, document and follow up on all remediation efforts of Third Party Management issues in the Global Issue Management tools.
  • Support the preparation of materials for audit, exam, and regulatory inquiries.
  • Support/create consistent Third Party Management Program reporting.  
  • Support and serve as point of contact to interface with business, risk, and compliance stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across the team to meet the project goals, resolve any issues and to implement improvements.
  • Assist and support monthly TPMPO governance forums and working groups.
  • In collaboration with the Third Party Management Program (TPMP) team; support and continue to mature the third party management risk program across PayPal.
  • Support special projects and initiatives: special projects vary from strategic initiatives to day-to-day operations. 
  • Support needs will vary by project and will require strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in risk, regulatory compliance, or audit.
  • Excels within a fast-paced environment by maintaining composure and demonstrating the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
  • A passion for problem-solving, flexibility, comfort with ambiguity and creativity.
  • Solutions oriented, takes initiative, and proactively addresses problems/issues that arise.
  • Strong written skills to draft formal documentation and implementation plans.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Excellent project management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrating a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity and teamwork.
  • Proven experience and understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Third Party risk or enterprise risk process or program development a plus
  • Some travel may be required
