Job Purpose Summary

The position is responsible for creating, updating and managing our extensive collection of technical and product documentation. You’re the ideal candidate if you’re an excellent writer who is also a design thinker and customer champion. You love using words to tell stories and to solve problems. You’re happy crafting compelling content, making the Hyperwallet platform easy to use and integrate. You’re excited to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment that requires independent self-direction as well as collaboration and open communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining Hyperwallet’s developer documentation
  • Develop integration manuals, how-to guides, and API and SDK documentation for external developers
  • Describe the major use cases of Hyperwallet’s global payout platform
  • Produce concise, accurate, complete and easy-to-understand documents
  • Learn and understand product functionality via hands-on experience
  • Work closely with engineering, product, QA, and support teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content
  • Continuously improve documentation through feedback and iterative development
  • Define documentation templates, format and style


  • A Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Information Science or related field
  • Superior writing skills including an aptitude for understanding and explaining technical information
  • 5+ years in a technical writing role
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate, influence and work as part of a team
  • Experience writing technical documentation for software applications, in particular Developer documentation for REST APIs and SDKs
  • Familiar with Markdown language
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines
