The Technical Systems Management 3 position within Payments Products & Engineering will support the payment production environment and drive resolution for PayPal’s payment products. This role is responsible for end to end management of production issues centered on transaction processing and settlement.

The Technical System Management role within Payments Products & Engineering will support the payment production environment and drive resolution for PayPal’s payment products. This role is responsible for end to end management of top production issues centered on transaction processing and settlement. As a core participant on the team, you will be a Level 1 & 2 escalation point for production issues and responsible for driving them resolution. You will also be responsible for analyzing existing monitoring, alerting, and batch escalation mechanisms to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in the processing environment. Your role will consist of creating, documenting and implementing scalable, standardized procedures and solutions to address the identified gaps, while developing an understanding of the payments platform. You will work alongside experienced teams with both business and technical skills.
