AMER IT rooms management, Office builds and IT MnA Integration

  • Responsible for the AMER IT room management, design, and  ensure the it is done in a secure and consistent way keeping the downtime to minimal and working with teams in EMEA and APAC as well.
  • Responsible for managing the office build out and deployment of the Paypal corp infrastructure alongside all the technical teams to streamline the IT room activities, office build outs
  • As a single point of contact for IT responsible for working with business leads of the office, stakeholders and the acquired companies and driving to successful completion of deliverables.
  • Work alongside technology vendor(s), subject matter experts - Network, telecom, AV/VC collaboration, end user services etc, technology service owners, corporate communications, corporate training etc.. to ensure the build/ integration is done in compliance with the Infosec and compliance policies.
  • Accountable for the budget and spend required for the buildout and M&A integration for acquired company. Work closely with legal teams to ensure appropriate regulatory needs are taken in to account
  • Facilitate/ensure the completion of all applicable technical forms in order to move the project forward.
  • Lead the M&A integration initiatives for corporate IT (Onboarding, Mail Migration, Desktop Migration, Networking Migration, Support & Services integration, Active directory etc.), and monitor the implementation of the design through integration
  • Provide technical support and documentation for project implementations (i.e. end user communication, training, FAQs, etc) 

Leadership:

  • Serve as IT interface and relationship owner to ensure roadmap and strategic alignment.
  • Influence Critical stakeholders and negotiate solutions that enable IT operational excellence (effectiveness and efficiency)
  • Handle project communications including project progress reports (to all management levels up to VP), meeting minutes, relevant project documentation, technical diagrams, customer information, training materials and the like.
  • Job Requirements
  • Technology knowhow of the IT room builds, cabling/infrastructure standards of servers, networks etc.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing larger-scale projects from start to finish
  • 8+ years of project management, integration of acquired companies with focus on  (onboarding, email migration, desktop migration, network buildout, process integrations, etc)
  • Ability to think logically, analyze application & business requirements
  • Prior M&A IT infrastructure Integration experience with technical knowhow of the network deployment, application integration, onboarding etc.  
  • High degree of communication skills - both verbal and writing skills.
  • Experience with international and multi-site projects.
  • Must be team oriented, self-motivated, & work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience maintaining a positive business to customer relationship.
  • Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of installation schedules, vendor management, & structured cabling infrastructure.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and principles
  • Strong organizational skills, require high energy, and strong work ethic
  • Ability to travel
