PayPal requires a strong product manager to work with our technology, policy and data science partners to build best-in-class fraud prevention capabilities for Person-to-Person (P2P) payments. This product manager will be involved in global company roll-outs and develop capabilities and decisioning infrastructure to enable our fraud management teams to continue to evolve to improve customer experience and reduce vulnerabilities on our platform.

Integration and Platform Capabilities:

  • Understand Integration needs (internal systems and external 3rd Parties) for various P2P initiatives
  • Be able to assimilate and synthesize the needs of Risk Management and Analytics into a core set of common Platform Capabilities and services. Definea platform integration strategy/roadmap identifying and prioritizing new opportunities. 
  • Own the entire product line life cycle from inception, strategic planning, delivery to live launch, post launch tracking and ongoing product management, enhancement, and development
  • Develop business and product requirement documents to meet product strategies


  • Work with the other Risk Product managers, policy and analytic Groups across the globe to help them understand services capabilities and enable them to build or leverage existing Solutions.
  • Consult with other groups within the Risk Organization to decipher sources of risk and loss and find solutions
  • Collaborate with other product managers and business owners to define the business goals and metrics


  • Lead project teams of engineers, and designers to ensure that the product solution delivers to requirements and meets business needs
  • Present business case, product roadmaps, and strategies to key stakeholders and executives

Analytical Thinking

  • Analyze data using data and visualization tools to come up with product insights and customer need based prioritization of features
  • Hands on experience in data analysis is required
