The Product Manager will be responsible for: Driving product requirements & capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on PayPal end user experience Working cross-functionally (with global BUs, engineering, and design) and developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams. Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings

The Analytical Data Services (ADS) is part of Global Data Science (GDS), expands the capabilities and expertise to tackle even more challenges and further advance the data science & analytical solutions and impact that we bring to businesses across the company.

We are looking for a Product manager, who is passionate about delivering quality solutions, excited about constantly interacting with his/her customer base and inspired by the opportunity to build a platform. The PM constantly seeks opportunities to improve our offering: placing emphasis on quality, delivering delightful customer experiences, with right set of capabilities to meet PayPal needs.

Job Description:

  • The Product Manager will be responsible for:
    • Driving product requirements & capabilities that application teams can leverage to have a direct impact on PayPal end user experience
    • Working cross-functionally (with global BUs, engineering, and design) and developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams.
    • Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings

Qualifications

  • Experience driving strategy for infrastructure products in a top tech or payments company 
  • Proven experience working in an agile environment in a Product Owner role.
  • Passion to seek an in-depth understanding of customer needs and turn that insight into a compelling product vision and requirements
  • 6+ years of experience with Bachelor degree OR 4+ years of experience with a Graduate degree. MBA Preferred but not required if strong track record of Product Management experience.
  • Strong execution and ability to drive work to completion.
  • Must have experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience and deep understanding of behavioral analytics
  • Experience in working with Big Data technologies. Strong SQL and Data Analysis skills.
  • Hands-on experiences with Teradata, SAS or Hadoop are strong plus.
