PayPal is actively seeking to hire a Talent Acquisition Intern to identify and assess underrepresented talent. PayPal Sourcers work closely with our Recruiters and Hiring Managers as they develop and execute strategies to locate and attract candidates to PayPal.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping establish diverse applicant pools through strong pipeline development strategies and strong communication skills.

You will:

  • Work closely with Recruiters, Sourcers, Hiring Managers, and our Inclusion & Diversity Lead to understand technical and non-technical requirements of various roles.
  • Proactively build underrepresented talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, events, and sourcing campaigns 
  • Have the opportunity to analyze organizational requirements to design a process to increase the efficacy and efficiency of how we source and attract candidates who will thrive at PayPal and add to our inclusive culture.
  • The ability to synthesize multiple data points and connect the dots in order to distill key insights and design and deliver solutions that match stated outcomes
  • Screen resumes and interview candidates 
  • Consistently maintain and track pipeline activity to share with Hiring Managers and Recruiters 
  • Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline

You have:

  • A current status as pursuing your Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree or MBA degree in HR Management or related.   
  • An understanding and appetite to learn about the opportunities and challenges in building a diverse talent pool and the tenacity to overcome obstacles and challenges 
  • Technology comprehension to leverage our Applicant Tracking System and other sourcing tools (LI Recruiter, Boolean search, etc.) to establish and maintain candidate pipeline 
  • Passion for learning strategies to drive the engagement of passive diverse candidates 
  • Aptitude to use data and metrics as a means to advise partners and make recommendations 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a team-oriented approach, and a desire to learn
