Who we are With the increasing development work needs in Ops area, DTA is now forming a new team, Customer Interaction Management, to focus on providing technical solutions to enable end to end customer interactions routing, from Help Center to tasks delivery.

Primary Job Responsibilities

As part of the Decision & Analytics Management team, the team identifies the opportunities that could improve the users’ experience when they seek help from PayPal, based on data driven analysis; and work with other teams to provide the solution and then turn the idea into reality.

With your technique expertise, you will build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the customer interaction experience with PayPal. You will also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

Job Requirements:

  • Solid software programming skills with Java, or Scala / C++
  • Ability to work independently, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to deliver within strict time frames
  • Self-driven, eager to learn new skills in both technology and analysis areas
  • Self-motivated, desire to seek out additional system and product knowledge
  • Familiar with big data stack (Hadoop/Spark) is a plus
  • Experience in both SQL and non-SQL database is a plus
  • Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
