PayPal's Merchant Commerce Solutions Engineering team in Bangalore is looking for a high performing professional to develop and execute Commerce Solutions strategy for PayPal’s Merchant Onboarding and Data Collection portfolio. Day to Day you will guide a team of engineers to implement tactical direction against organization goals. You will lead the operations and activities of an area, work with stake-holders to ensure quality of execution.


  • 12+ years of experience in building scalable web applications that deliver great user experiences
  • 5+ years of managing a team of Software Engineers
  • Success in hiring, mentoring, and developing highly effective Software Engineers
  • Providing technical leadership and architectural guidance
  • Solid knowledge of web application frameworks such as Backbone, Node, Ember and React/Redux
  • Experience with web frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience working cross functionally - partnering closely with design & product teams to craft great user experiences
  • Proficient in current unit testing and automated functional testing frameworks
  • Expertise in current software development best practices
  • Understanding of current software development processes such as Agile
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field, or equivalent
