What is Mobile QA at Xoom • Xoom customers send over $10 Billion each year from the US, Canada, and Europe to over 130 countries • 70% of all money transfers at Xoom are sent via mobile. • Mobile QA is responsible for ensuring the quality of our Mobile apps and Mobile APIs. • Mobile QA Automation builds first class automation tools and tests to quickly test and release all Xoom apps and services.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in engineering field in progress or complete
  • Experience testing iOS and Android apps
  • 1+ years experience in Java programming
  • mySQL
  • Unix/Linux command line
  • BASH scripting
  • Test Case execution and development
  • Bonus : Appium, Groovy, Jenkins Pipelines


  • Learn the complete functionality of the mobile applications, website, and back end services.
  • Become competent in using our test environments and test tools to manually test the apps.
  • Define, build, run, and debug automated tests using our Appium framework on the iOS and Android mobile apps.
  • Enhance and debug our continuous integration Jenkins pipelines.
  • Communicate issues effectively to the Mobile Development, Mobile Product Management, and Infrastructure.
