PayPal is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) focused on Instore solutions and expansion for Small Business and Pricing for all segments. About Product Marketing at PayPal  PayPal’s product-oriented Product Marketer drives product commercial success as part of the larger product team including, local market product marketers, global product managers, global sales and marketing teams.  PMMs are a critical voice of the customer in the entire product lifecycle from needs identification and prioritization, through design and release iterations, and finally through the commercial launch and success monitoring.  The role of a Product Marketer is comprised of two primary areas of responsibility and activity: inbound and outbound. Both activities help to define, design, and ultimately deliver on the promise of the go-to-market plan for PayPal products. 

This role has responsibility for driving global instore strategies, designs, market expansion and go to market activities for the Small Business segment creating wide-spread acceptance of the PayPal wallet for payment in the physical world through QRC, card and tap to pay.  Additionally, this role supports customer and competitive discovery and go to market functions for new pricing methodologies (bundles, subscription) and provides PMM support as needed for substantial changes to existing pricing for all customer types (Consumer, Large Enterprise, Middle Market, Small Business).  

The Small Business Instore & Pricing PMM will work in collaboration with a spectrum of internal partners including Product, Pricing, Research, Marketing, Analytics, Sales, Sales Enablement, User Experiences, Credit, Operations, Compliance, Legal and Finance teams to develop new value propositions and to create and execute successful product launches and pricing events. 

The ideal candidate will have experience:

  • Developing offline and online payments processing value propositions for Small Businesses
  • Working with QRC payments or QRC technology
  • Developing and implementing pricing for merchant payments processing
  • Developing and implementing bundle and subscription pricing methodologies for businesses and/or consumers 
  • Leading complex, cross-functional initiatives on a global scale
  • Researching customer needs, competitors, and regulations to understand environmental opportunities
  • Developing and implementing highly successful go to market plans
