The PayPal Credit Product team is responsible for the product strategy and development of PayPal’s global credit products which include PayPal Credit and PayPal Branded Credit Products through partners. As part of this team, Product Managers work within the Credit organization and broader PayPal ecosystem to interpret, refine and translate business needs into product requirements that are ready for implementation by engineers. The Product team is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of new products from product design, to solution design, to build, and implementation. We are also responsible for managing and improving our existing product offerings.

The Credit Product Manager will be responsible for managing, designing, and building world-class credit products and experiences.  They will responsible for the performance of their product and the KPI’s related to their product.  They will be tasked to identify opportunities to improve their product and managing their KPI’s.  They will responsible for working closely with multi-functional areas across PayPal and different regions, including business and marketing partners, legal, compliance, and risk.  They will also work closely with development teams in an agile environment.  They will be responsible for managing backlogs and roadmaps, writing stories, and other typical agile processes.  

Skill set requirements:

  • Experienced product manager with a minimum of 5+ years of product experience
  • Ability to work with a wide range of functions ranging from business experts to developers
  • Managing traditional agile responsibilities of a product owner
  • Strong communication skills
  • Delivering high quality products that meet customer needs
  • Strong understanding of business KPI’s and the ability to drive them
  • Experience in an agile development environment a plus
