We are looking for an entrepreneurial and seasoned Product Manager to help lead the strategy and execution for PayPal Marketing Solutions through Partnerships in e-commerce and online marketing areas. With a background in online retail, e-commerce, marketing or online advertising, you will deliver products working closely with partners and delight our combined base of merchants and consumers globally.

In the last year PayPal processed over $282B worth of payments across the globe for more than 17M businesses. PayPal serves businesses across the spectrum from small early stage businesses to fortune-100 global retailers. The global eCommerce landscape is getting more and more complex with social, mobile and local driving new avenues of customer acquisition and engagement. PayPal desires to continue as a solid partner to our merchant businesses through this changing landscape.

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with experience in eCommerce, Retail or online Advertising industry, to join a team that is delivering solutions to our large merchant base. This position is focused on working with existing and new partnerships with major online players driving online commerce globally.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to work with established and new PayPal’s partners to build and bring new personalized shopping experiences for our 212M+ consumers. 
  • Be comfortable with interacting with senior executives both inside and outside the company and provide though leadership towards delightful and personalized customer experiences.
  • Effectively execute working with 3-in-a-box with design and engineering teams building products.
  • Continuously improve the experiences we present to customers, working closely with the user experience teams to deliver excellent, customized and optimized solutions.
  • Partner with engineering teams to build right level on instrumentation and tracking to deliver algorithmic targeting.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams and other related product managers, designers and engineers to ensure iterative yet continuous delivery.
  • Work cross-organizationally with sales, product marketing, marketing, customer support, operations, legal, compliance, risk management and other functional areas, to ensure alignment with related go-to-market activities

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of e-Commerce, online marketing and advertising domains in consumer web / retail industry
  • Work effectively with external Partner teams in ideating, building and bringing products to market together.
  • Proven experience of managing products especially working with senior leader and partners
  • Experience working with Global markets
  • A strong track record of delivering high quality products and customer experiences in a very high growth environment where priorities and structures may shift.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to dynamic nature of discussions with other engineering and product teams.
  • 5+ years' experience with Product management or development.
  • 2+ years' experience working with global products in leadership position.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering or a Business Degree.
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience or MBA is preferred.
