As a Senior Product Manager in the Consumer Onboarding team, you will be responsible for growing PayPal’s global customer base, through optimizing our existing acquisition channels, and ensuring new customers are set up for success. This role provides the opportunity to define, design and deliver end-to-end experiences aimed at on boarding new customers with all the account information required to ensure they have the best possible customer experience. We are looking for an innovative, self-driven, experienced product manager to join our team.

As a Senior Product Manager in the Consumer Onboarding team, you will be responsible for creating on boarding experiences for new customers. The ideal candidate is an end-to-end product manager with a successful track record of launching intuitive user experiences and products customers love, fiercely advocating for the best possible experiences, and coaching our customers into exploring everything PayPal has to offer them. You will be forward-thinking and comfortable collaborating across a diverse group of stakeholders, seeking innovative ways in which the on boarding process can benefit the customer throughout their lifecycle with PayPal. You will identify optimizations, drive experiments, and proactively seek opportunities to improve our funnel through data as well as collaboration with other teams. You will understand global scalability and platform approaches to optimize efforts.

Responsibilities/Success in this role requires

  • Ability to inspire, collaborate and communicate across all levels of the organization with your product vision and customer passion
  • Passion to seek a deep understanding of customer needs and turn that insight into a compelling vision
  • Ability to drive improved conversion based on customer needs and feedback to ensure the highest quality experiences
  • Skills to plan, prioritize and deliver projects against our vision and strategy
  • A data-driven mindset to use A/B Testing, analytics, market research, usability studies, and competitive analysis to drive decision making
  • An understanding of technical infrastructure, latency, and scalability across platforms and regions

Requirements/Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Product Management experience with a BA/BS (a technical degree is not required, but being comfortable in critical technology discussions is a must)
  • Passion and empathy for the customer to understand the needs and experiences in our platforms
  • Ability to drive work to completion through a strong sense of execution and work ethic
  • Demonstrated success in creating innovative products with user experience in mind
  • Experience in both mobile and web technologies a plus
