Site Reliability Engineering Product Manager: You will have the opportunity to work with multiple business/engineering groups, use your knowledge and experience to elevate the quality of the live site monitoring systems across the company, help data engineers build scalable platforms that produce business metrics, and enable monitoring on those metrics.

The Site Reliability Engineering product management team seeks a top-performing, highly-motivated Product Manager to join our growing team. You will have the opportunity to work with multiple business/engineering groups, use your knowledge and experience to elevate the quality of the live site monitoring systems across the company, help data engineers build scalable platforms that produce business metrics, and enable monitoring on those metrics.

Strong behavioral analytics knowledge, experience working on highly complex software projects in AGILE mode, and a desire to drive positive change, are key to success in this role.

 Responsibilities:

• Partner closely with other Product Managers to learn of new PayPal product offerings being built, and work with analysts to recommend the right metrics to measure performance of those new products.

• Provide strategic and tactical guidance on building infrastructure products for monitoring the PayPal site; enabling PayPal Engineering staff members.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams, provide ongoing support to help influence system qualities such as Availability, Performance and Scalability by providing actionable insights on system status

• Collaborate with designer and customer to develop the right experience for Infrastructure product such as Cloud services, Monitoring, etc.

• Develop a strong understanding of the PayPal infrastructure; bring perspective of industry standards, and influence the strategy of the products

• Participate in Agile rituals with the engineering team

• Embed the product management discipline and principles in the everyday working.
