PayPal Credit products play a vital role in fulfilling PayPal’s mission to democratize financial services. Within the Credit team, we are striving to reimagine our credit products to provide fair, fast and flexible products that responsibly enable our Customers to meet their financial goals. We are seeking a high-performing product manager to be part of the PayPal Credit Merchant Product group. As a product manager in the PayPal Credit group, you should be a self-starter, and have the ability to influence a cross-functional team across the organization. As part of the team’s charter, you will be responsible for solving customer problems, and ensuring that the product design align with the overall strategy and goals of the PayPal Credit business by acting as the key product subject matter expert to business/sales/integration stakeholders along with key merchants

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Product integration specialist for Consumer Credit merchant products
  • Create and own the integration documentation process for Consumer credit merchant products. 
  • Data driven approach (customer and user feedback, SWOT analysis and competitive analysis) to identify new product opportunities and enhancements. identify product gaps, generate new ideas, influence investment decisions to improve product capabilities
  • Gather business and product requirements based on best outcome for customers and available capabilities
  • Serve as primary product subject matter expert to business and sales teams, and own the creation of the right product solutions for merchants based on available and to be built product capabilities
  • Play the role of a technical product specialist in troubleshooting, triaging production issues with key merchant integrations
  • Work with business stakeholders to understand customer needs and compare with competitive product offerings in the market while developing product requirements

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in product management or product integrations, ideally in ecommerce, online retail, digital payments, or consumer credit;
  • Passion for customer focused design and market leading user experience
  • Proven experience in managing customer relationships and expectations
  • Ability to develop tight partnerships with critical partners across cross-functional teams: business/sales, engineering, and core product teams
  • Experience working with technology teams hands-on supporting technical products working with APIs, services.
  • Proven experience working with industry standard integration patterns and documentation methodology
  • Extensive use of applying analytics to design, including ownership of experimentation platforms/plans and extensive application of quant/qual research methods
  • Strong communication and influencing skills

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or information systems
