This is a Senior Product Manager position to oversee the Bug Lifecycle Management product line within the Enterprise Tools group.

The Enterprise Tools group provides services that enable over 4,000 PayPal developers to do their jobs effectively every day. It includes everything from source code management and Agile execution tools to communications platforms for marketing developments internally. As a Senior Product Manager for Bug Lifecycle Management, you will own one of the most crucial systems in PayPal. Bug management and software quality are tightly coupled and you will lead an effort to radically transform the bug management system to make it more effective and enable developers to release higher quality products.

You will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and evangelizing the technical and business vision of bug management in PayPal with respect to improvements in software quality and operational efficiency.
  • Driving product strategy and creating capabilities and processes that are best-in-class for software defect management in the industry.
  • Working with business partners to decompose and establish a simplified, integrated system for bug, incident, and customer support issue management that satisfies the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Driving customer adoption of the bug platform within the extended PayPal organization.
  • Working cross-functionally (with global BUs, engineering, and design) and developing strong relationships that help build trust with key partner teams.
  • Evangelizing product roadmap internally and externally in informal and formal settings.
  • Running lean experiments to inform future investment areas.
