As a Solution Product Manager on the team you will 

  • Own and manage one or more physical, virtual or device enabled payment products 
  • Collaborate with people in various functions (legal, compliance, finance, strategy etc.)  and across PayPal inc (Venmo, Braintree, Honey, iZettle, HyperWallet) to solve product problems on our proprietary & in-house card issuing and transaction processing stack. 
  • Partner very closely with your engineering and product counterparts to write detailed product requirements and take products from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Work closely with the payment networks and digital wallet providers to take PayPal to market in new solutions and contexts. 

You are a good fit for this role if you - 

  • have a background in card payments or the payments ecosystem 
  • have worked at a  payments or e-commerce company in the past
  • have studied or worked in software engineering or related disciplines 
  • have worked for 5+ years in Product Management roles 
  • are bold with asking questions and persistent with seeking answers
  • are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working with incomplete information
  • are able to write clearly for business, explaining your ideas and positions with supporting evidence, analysis and data
  • are able to communicate powerfully and clearly via the spoken word with different audiences and audience sizes, both technical and non-technical, up, down and across the organization. 
  • value personal autonomy and can go about getting things done with minimum supervision
  • love learning and tinkering
  • have a growth mindset
