This position is for Issuance & Tokenization Payments Team, which is responsible for issuing and tokenization platform. There are multiple products built on this platform and continues to be one of the fastest growing platforms within PayPal, helping launch Products like Debit Cards, various In-store products, enabling PayPal as FI in 3rd party digital wallets

As a Capability Product Manager (CPM) in Issuance & Tokenization team, you need to:

  • Work with capability leader to define the “Key Business Results” to be achieved for the Capability area
  • Develop background on industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in their respective capability area of accountability
  • Work with ecosystem partners like VISA, MasterCard to define capabilities and influence ecosystem change
  • Ideate and build business cases to build new capabilities
  • Ideate and optimize the existing capabilities to improve the revenue, profitability
  • Partner with Solution Product Managers (SPM) and other stakeholders to define the capabilities needed to be built on the Platform
  • Define analytics and other non-functional requirements for the respective capabilities
  • Derive insights from data and build hypothesis to perform discoveries
  • Own Voice of Customer for the respective capability areas and deliver customer delights
  • Add, Own product roadmap for one or more platform capability area
  • Work with all the stakeholders to deliver the outcomes and measure, make enhancements
  • Experience with scrum/agile methodology Is independent, communicative, able to work in fast paced environment, working with geo distributed teams
  • Excellent project management, organizational and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, quick learner who works with minimal to no supervision.
  • A real go-getter! Results-driven approach, with a winning, positive attitude. Can thrive in a collaborative team oriented environment, with focus on delivering thoughtful and committed deliverables.

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelors in Engineering or Masters in Business
  • Has worked as a Product Manager for at least 5-7 years and overall experience of 10-12 years Has worked in Payments Industry and good knowledge of Payments Ecosystem
  • Has worked with Payment Networks like VISA, MasterCard or Processors  or Banks to build Payment capabilities
  • Has built payments product and platform

Optional Skills:

  • Has transitioned from tech background into Product Management
  • Has worked on Global, scalable Platforms
  • Knowledge of Issuance Platform
  • Knowledge of Tokenization Platform
