PayPal is seeking an Sr. BI & Reporting Analyst to join the PayPal’s People Business Intelligence & Reporting team.
This position will provide data insights for key People initiatives support PayPal and People organizational functions. The successful candidate will be comfortable with manipulating large data sets, working across various teams and levels of seniority. They will be required to work autonomously and professionally to meet tight deadlines, while striving to deliver an excellent level of customer service. This role would be ideal for an individual who is proactive, able to manage their time and workload effectively and has a great level of attention to detail, with a passion for using data to drive decision making in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building the weekly, monthly, and quarterly scheduled reports, including Executive Management Information and Workforce Metrics in an accurate and timely manner  
  • Working with all levels of stakeholders from across the business, to understand reporting requirements and consulting with them to help understand what is possible from People Business Intelligence team
  • Supporting HR projects and initiatives to ensure successful implementation and on-going success
  • Supporting the effort of data integrity and data governance
  • On-going review and improvement of reporting processes to standardize and align techniques across all reporting teams Required qualifications
    Experience with Workday Reporting is nice to have
  • Fluent in SQL and Excel; experience with a statistical programming language (e.g., R, Python), visualization tools such as Tableau or Qlikview preferred
  • Advanced Tableau, Advanced Microsoft Excel and SQL knowledge; experience with workday and Salesforce reporting an advantage
  • A customer focused individual with proven experience in delivering complex analysis within short time frames, managing multiple stakeholders
  • Proactive, and takes ownership of day-to-day activities, seeing deliverables through to completion
  • Strive for a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in the work they deliver
  • Ability to work in a busy and demanding environment, while performing well under pressure
  • Able to successfully learn new tools and platforms
  • Experience with Tableau preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
