We are looking for an experienced Sr. Payroll Specialist to work effectively in a multi-functional, multi-cultural environment, who is open to change and will embrace the challenges that arise in a fast-moving environment. You will be responsible for processing payroll for over 10k employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a fun, knowledgeable team.

  • Responsible for accurate and timely wage payments for over 10k employees
  • Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local agencies
  • Must be able to maintain absolute confidentiality in the handling of documents and provide complete and accurate attention to detail
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Process daily master data changes
  • Collaborate with team members and business partners to share and validate information
  • Maintain support for each payroll processed and save in appropriate shared folder
  • Calculate and process manual checks and special payments, as necessary
  • Respond to employee inquiries via phone and ticketing system
  • Ad Hoc Reporting
  • Assist in year-end processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education/Skills:

  • Must have 3-5 years multi-state payroll processing for large company
  • Must have strong knowledge of federal and state regulations
  • FPC or CPP desirable, but not necessary
  • Experience working with ADP or SAP, Workday and Kronos
  • Must have strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel
  • High degree of professionalism and compassion
  • Service minded
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical abilities
