Performance Creative is an interdisciplinary team of collaborative, proactive and inquisitive creatives, producers and content analysts who support initiatives across PayPal’s Marketing org.
We seek an experienced Senior-level Producer who is strategic in the way they approach a project in both the planning & execution. The person who fills this Sr. Manager of Production & Transcreation role will be responsible for the management and execution of global projects and all facets of the process—from planning, creative development & execution and localization to post-launch wrap-up.

You are a great communicator, motivator, creative producer, strategic thinker and project manager with an innate ability to bring great ideas to life. You have a track record of delivering high-quality work across various media (performance, interactive, broadcast, podcast, product, experiential, etc), a personal drive to find solutions and to challenge yourself and the team to find the best way of operating.
As a key conduit between Marketing and Product, Dotcom and Comms, you will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle by bringing creative and production considerations into the planning process, define and enforce milestones and dependencies and execute best in class creative on both quick-turn and large cross-functional initiatives – eg, Product Launches and key Marketing and Brand initiatives.
Because you work on projects that support a variety of initiatives, from Performance Marketing to Brand Strategy, you are ready to take on different ways of thinking to achieve business goals throughout the customer journey—from awareness to conversion. You understand what kind of creative drivers are needed for specific marketing touchpoints, you know which partners to collaborate with to deliver on those needs and you understand how to measure success – whether it’s through audience engagement, earned media, customer acquisition or increased revenue.
As our organization continues to evolve, you will also play a key role in defining best practices and processes as you work with team leads across Marketing to define and optimize a standardized, transparent & reliable process from the planning stage to final delivery – including intake, internal and external resourcing, agency engagement, reviews, approvals, and Transcreation & Localization. You will bring your knowledge of the creative agency and production company landscape to further expand the capabilities of PayPal marketing teams globally and you will apply your operational thinking to optimize our high-volume asset production process.
Bring concepts to fruition through: identifying the steps and microsteps needed; aligning internal and external partners on roles and responsibilities; creating a project plan and roadmap; and ensuring all the moving parts and players stay on-track while knowing how to adjust the plan when needed
Work cross-functionally with colleagues within and outside marketing to ensure strategic, creative and operational cohesion and excellence
Move complex projects forward from planning all the way through to Performance asset production and Transcreation & Localization.
Partner with Program Leads to manage internal and external communications, kick-offs, creative reviews and approval with stakeholders
Partner with Creative and Brand leadership to ensure brand consistency and high-quality creative output
Align with Geo Marketers and Localization partners to ensure smooth delivery of transcreation assets
Manage agency bidding, engagement and budgeting process
Collaborate with our colleagues within Marketing Operations to define project roadmaps and understand technical requirements
Centralize project assets and information
Maintain meeting notes/outcomes and project status communications
Ensure feedback from creative leadership and project stakeholders is aligned and actionable
Facilitate collaboration and communication among responsibility parties to ensure the work aligns with business goals and creative standards
Partner with analytics to assess creative optimization and creative testing needs
Collaborate with colleagues in Performance Creative to optimize high-volume asset production process
Provide feedback to continuously improve agency/vendor relationships and roster
Be a champion and innovator of creative and marketing operations
8+ years integrated production experience in Creative/Design/Agency/In-house Marketing setting
Experience defining and enforcing best practices and processes
Experience working across multiple marketing channels in different Regions, with ability to think globally and recognize the nuances of local marketing
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, as well as organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills
Creative Problem solving and leadership skills
Understands how to extrapolate creative insights from analytics
Strong knowledge of creative agency and production company landscape
Knowledge of Omni channel Digital and Non Digital Marketing
Familiarly with web development technologies and dynamic creative optimization practices
MS Office, Mac OS, Workflow/ticket management platform (eg, Jira), Gantt charts, Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
