The Job As part of the newly formed Marketing Transformation team charged with activating a world-class marketing model at PayPal, the Senior Manager of Marketing Transformation Programs has a unique opportunity to take a front seat in this large-scale organizational change and provide immediate impact in the organization’s ability to deliver on commercial targets. This versatile role will have responsibility over a broad scope of strategic programs ranging from upstanding new processes, designing and testing engagement models, and leading the implementation of new tools in the marketing organization.  Partnering with leaders across the marketing organization, the Senior Manager of Marketing Organizational Change Programs will coach teams through process design exercises, champion programs led by other marketing functions and will inspire peers with a passion for organizational effectiveness. Reporting to Head of Marketing Transformation, you will join like-minded change agents who believe in marketing’s role as a major driver of PayPal’s growth. As PayPal continues to expand internationally, this role is critical in achieving a common understanding for how we can scale with global functions yet connect effectively with our country marketers who are closest to our customers. You will bring your diverse background and understanding of B2B and B2C marketing to ramp-up our ability to add value to the organization, and to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defines and manages the roadmap of transformation enabling programs, working with senior marketing leadership to prioritize the most high-value efforts
  • Lead cross-functional teams through various organization-wide programs that define and document our processes, assess gaps in processes or engagement models, and lead the implementation of new tools
  • Identify or create data sets which will be used to illustrate transformation progress or where process gaps or lack of effectiveness remain
  • Facilitate workshops with leaders to translate agreed-upon process design, engagement models and RASCI models into their day-to-day operations
  • Manage engagement with external consultants
  • Coach managers in all geographic areas through adoption plans for organizational change, process adoption or implementation of new tools
  • Collaborate with Marketing’s Business Operations function to create and maintain an organizational blueprint, contributing detail on the processes between various functions or roles

Qualifications

  • You have 12-15+ years of marketing and program management experience
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • You have worked with companies going through a major change or transformation
  • BA/BS and MBA required
