This role will be responsible for enhancing and executing a comprehensive international governance and reporting framework.

  • Driving the creation and execution of a comprehensive international governance and reporting framework.
  • Working closely with PayPal’s senior leadership, subject matter experts, business units and Legal department to understand business and regulatory requirements and transforming those requirements into clear and concise updates and reporting to Senior Leadership, Risk Management Committees and international Boards of Directors.
  • Setting best practices and providing guidance on governance matters.  
  • Establishing key KPI / KRI metrics and other reporting for the Global Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GGRC) organization.
  • Actively developing relationships and working collaboratively with cross functional groups and leaders within PayPal to enhance and drive alignment on governance and reporting processes.
  • Leading across the organization to ensure critical risk and compliance matters are appropriately escalated, documented and reported to Senior Leadership, Risk Management Committees and Boards of Directors.
  • Maintaining appropriate records of escalations, decisions, and action items.
  • Championing the goals and objectives of GGRC across the organization.

  • Proactive and eager to make impactful recommendations that will help drive efficiency across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Detail oriented and a self-starter than can deliver successful results with minimal guidance.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience in legal, governance or business
  • Prior work experience with management consulting, investment banking, legal or financial services is highly desired globally.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills along with attention to detail.
  • Ability to partner with cross functional teams.
  • MS Office
  • Juris Doctor degree preferred, Undergraduate degree is required.
