As part of the Corporate FP&A team, the candidate will drive PayPal, inc. long term planning processes and financial modeling. This person will report directly to Pierluigi Maglio, and will play a critical role in assuring that we meet internal and external expectations. This is a high impact, high visibility position with exposure to PayPal’s senior leadership team.

Summary of responsibilities, encompassing:

  • Ability to understand & incorporate the outside in view, external environment into internal plan
  • Work on analysis of internal and external trends, correlating with GDP, FX trends...
  • Collaborate with the various businesses' stakeholders to understand key strategic areas of development and translate them into solid financial plan
  • Create and update financial models for long term planning
  • Streamline long term planning processes
  • Create presentations for the senior leadership team to support decision making process
  • Support Earnings and investors day workstreams and other Corporate FP&A recurring processes (such as Ops reviews, EPS updates, Board of directors meetings)

Job requirements:

  • Strategic mindset
  • Execution capabilities, high energy, strong work ethic
  • Team player attitude, partnering, and collaboration skills
  • World-class analytics and modeling capabilities required
  • A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity, and creativity
  • Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Statistics, statistical financial models tools, R, SQL, Essbase would be a plus
  • 7 or + years in FP&A, Corporate development, Strategic finance or analytics functions
