The Senior Manager of Global Marketing Financial Partnerships and Rewards team is a member of the Growth Marketing Organization and will be responsible for driving portfolio growth through strategic marketing relationships with PayPal’s Global Financial Payment Partners and Bank Institutions. She/He will leverage these institutions to deliver new capabilities and experiences that drive value for our customers and merchants, to optimize our payment economics, to amplify and tell our story in new ways and channels, and to support and accelerate our corporate priorities. Additionally, the Sr. Manager works alongside Product and Commercial leaders, as part of a cross-functional team that shares responsibility for growing and sustaining our Rewards Platform helping to solve core customer pain points and deliver greater value for customers and merchant base. S/he will create global marketing strategies that deliver against collective portfolio priorities and be responsible for executing and monitoring the tactics supporting that strategy leveraging PayPal’s marketing infrastructure around the world.


  • Develop Data-driven Marketing Strategies to build out Pay with Rewards and Rewards Schema Aggregation as a scalable differentiator for PayPal.
  • Nurture and amplify our partnerships by creating marketing plans with our Top 8 Global Financial intuition and relevance for PayPal through leveraging partner rewards platforms, channels and member offers.
  • Forge new network value by integrating Bank Partners and Rewards into PayPal’s other networks, such as SMB’s, Larger Enterprise Merchants, Global Strategic Accounts and Charity Network
  • Serve as a catalyst for change and continuous improvement. As the voice of customer, based on learnings and competitor analysis, provide valuable insights on product enhancements, new solutions and go-to market strategies. 
  • Accelerate results through superior pipeline management, navigating internal and external product roadmaps, and influencing resource allocation.
  • Strong collaboration with internal stakeholders across PayPal Inc. globally such as technology and product specialists, finance, sales and integration engineers, legal, risk, sales operations, marketing and other teams as appropriate to achieve desired results. 
  • Analyze and interpret consumer engagement data in order to evaluate the effectiveness of messaging and campaigns
  • Guide partners to leverage consistent positioning & message design guidelines while advising on targeting segmentation focus, creative themes and consumer experiences
  • Be on top of marketing trends and news on culturally relevant brands to help guide and shape future marketing innovation and strategies
  • Track the effectiveness of the marketing strategy and plans, through a data insights and metrics driven approach, to measure progress and ensure alignment with business strategic priorities


  • Sets business plans, strategic goals for self and the team and partners with them to define a vision for the unit/area.
  • Put together clear recommendations to execute global programs that are ready to be localized. 
  • Expeditiously identifies market trends and disruptions that impact the organization; is agile in recommending solutions.

  • 8+ years of marketing experience, in best-in-class consumer or financial services brand, loyalty marketing a plus
    • 3+ years of progressive digital marketing experience required
    • 2+ years of managing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns
    • 2+ years of demonstrating strong project management skills including conceptualization; analysis; driving alignment; planning resources; managing milestones and objectives and be responsible for overall project, content or campaign success
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Strategy or related field.
  • Results-oriented, analytical, self-motivated and accountable, with proven ability to both define and meet objectives and targets.
  • Strong financial and business acumen. As well as the ability to synthesize complex information into the essential points needed to inform decision-making
  • Ability to strike a balance between strategic thinking and hands-on execution
  • Experience leading cross-functional / matrix teams, through a clear and consistent line of sight regarding critical work activities
  • High energy, maturity, and leadership with the ability to serve as a unifying force and to position communications discussions at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • Proven outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal and visual
