The PayPal Consumer team is seeking an innovative professional to drive our digital transformation efforts by informing, leading and implementing state of the art digital and marketing technologies by serving as the connection point between our primary users and decision makers in North America and our global product and engineering teams. This role will report to the NA Lead for Marketing Ops, Solutions & Technology.

Overview:

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the martech landscape and categories and vendors within the industry. They will be a strategic partner to the regional marketing team in coordinating, scheduling and implementing the development of our marketing stack with product, operations, analytics, data technology and finance.

This candidate will deeply understand users’ needs, building business requirements for the Product Managers and Engineers. They will also support the planning, scheduling, implementation and adoption of these platforms to fully operationalize these for scale. They will work with NA Marketing, consumer strategy and digital acquisition teams to understand our strategic goals and priorities, while helping to incorporate and validate feedback to inform product prioritization.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, distill, and communicate marketing solutions and technology needs and opportunities for NA region
  • E2E program management of product/ platform enhancements and pilot workstreams
  • Define and optimize processes to facilitate full E2E operationalization of marketing tools and platforms for organizational adoption and scale
  • Deeply understand our marketing technology stack and each platform’s utility, value proposition, roadmap and integration between current and new systems.
  • Actively participate in business requirements and serve as the key connection between product teams, primary users and internal stakeholders
  • Help to build solid business cases that inform product prioritization
  • Lead/ support strategic development and implementation planning to ensure successful launches
  • Deeply understand implications on workflows, processes and efficiencies gleaned by new implementations

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Technology, Operations, Business Administration, or closely related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered.

Required Skills:

  • Requires strong strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills and collaborative mindset.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to drive complex development and deployment efforts.
  • 5+ years of product marketing, product management and/or consumer marketing experience, preferably in high-tech, financial services or commerce
  • 5+ years of software/technology experience
  • Deep experience of marketing technology solutions in areas such as content/ contact management, e-commerce, digital marketing, analytics & data technology.
  • Experience working effectively in global shared services model an advantage due to heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, specifically working across product, sales, research, data technology & consumer marketing teams, including external agencies.
  • Highly effective communicator, and relationship builder - who interacts with clarity and purpose, and who has experience interacting at all levels of organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
