Global Investigations (GI) is seeking a highly talented, self-motivated and analytical individual to manage and drive the development and execution of an investigative team made up of Managers and Investigators. The Regional Investigations Senior Manager will provide leadership, expertise and counsel relative to GI’s investigative processes, current and emerging risks with an emphasis on internal and external investigations of fraud, cyber and related misconduct within the North America and LATAM Regions. Prior experience supervising investigative initiatives in this specific area, as well as experience developing and maintaining relationships with key law enforcement partners, regulatory agencies, and other external partners on a global level is also essential. This role also requires a self-starter with the ability to think critically and strategically when overseeing investigations, seeing beyond the initial facts presented and reviewing information thoroughly and in a highly organized manner. This role also requires the ability to operate independently and manage multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines and exhibit a sense of urgency when necessary.

Position Responsibilities:  

  • Lead Investigative initiatives with identified and measurable milestones and goals, including regular, comprehensive reporting to inform key leaders of efforts relating to each initiative;
  • Act as a key strategic partner to the Head of GI and other Global Financial Crime (GFC) stakeholder partners relative to fraud prevention and controls in the analysis of the full fraud cycle of detection, investigation and prevention.
  • Collaborate with other regional Directors and Managers to ensure that all allegations of fraud, misconduct and cross border issues are managed in a professional and consistent manner throughout the GI organization.
  • Deliver verbal and written briefings to internal partners and key leaders regarding identified issues and findings relating to each initiative; 
  • Lead in managing daily team functions, to include providing real time mentoring, coaching and best practice guidance to team members relating to their daily investigative work, to include supervising the analysis of information to ensure the appropriate detection of suspicious activity. 
  • As necessary, conduct comprehensive, high quality end-to-end complex investigations, completing a comprehensive analysis of information across multiple platforms and jurisdictions.  
  • Provide guidance and oversight in raising awareness of broader policy and product issues, and driving toward timely resolution.  
  • Display leadership by engaging, partnering with internal stakeholders and external partners in thinking and acting critically to identify opportunities for collaboration, raise awareness of investigative findings, and develop recommendations to mitigate risk.
  • Other related tasks as required.

Qualifications/ Education/Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or JD preferred.
  • 5+ years professional experience managing/supervising legal or investigative teams with 3+ years leading complex investigations involving cross border legal and regulatory issues in cybercrime, complex fraud, insider abuse, and/or high profile/high priority events. 
  • Prior law enforcement or prosecutorial experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyze large amounts of data in order to report critical information.
  • Prior knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions regulations and guidance such as the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act.
  • Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues. 
  • Advanced data query and analysis skills.
  • Travel, as needed.
