This People Business Partner will lead and oversee all People functions for PayPal’s US Business Financing Solutions team business and is based in Timonium, MD. The role will support teams in Timonium, MD, Wilmington, DE, Conshohocken, PA and San Jose, CA.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, People for Americas and Global Credit, this leader will work closely with the VP, US Business Financing Solutions and local management to help drive support of the business by way of initiatives within the People organization. This People Leader will continue the work supporting culture integration (on a global scale) with a focus on driving employee engagement and helping the business deliver against near and long term priorities. She/he will leverage all of the pertinent expertise and capabilities of the People function including global rewards, talent acquisition, talent management and development, and employee relations. This individual will also strengthen the effectiveness of our leadership bench by providing coaching and counsel to senior executives. This work will help further develop leadership capability and capacity. The ideal candidate will partner with senior executives and leadership teams of the client organizations to design and scale an organization capable of delivering against the goals and objectives of the businesses. Ultimately, this Senior Manager is a collaborative partner to both the broader PayPal business and fast-growing US Business Financing Solutions business, creating customized solutions in a time of rapid change and meaningful growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of HR experience in roles of progressively increasing scope with a demonstrated track record of influencing at the executive level.
  • Experience leading HR for finance or technical organizations; Operations and/or Call Center industry experience; Sales and Account Management industry experience
