This role will report directly to the Global Head of Diversity & inclusion (based in San Jose, CA) and will be responsible for driving D&I goals in the APAC region. At PayPal, D&I is how we do our business. Inclusion is one of our core values and defines who we are and everything that we do. We are seeking a candidate who aligns with our values and who has the experience and passion to help us achieve PayPal’s goal of democratizing financial services and building financial inclusion. The D&I team is looking for a team player who is flexible, pays attention to detail, drives a timeline, and can navigate the system quickly. We need people who think outside of the norm. Responsibilities
• Work with the Global D&I team to execute the overall D&I strategy for our International region (APAC and India)
• Partner with the Global D&I team, People Team, HR Analytics, HR Business Partners, business leaders and internal community groups to ensure that we are incorporating diversity and inclusion into all of the People Team strategies (Recruiting, Learning & Development, Advancement, and Engagement)
• Accountable for D&I data and equipping leaders with key insights to help drive a culture of inclusion
• Partner with team to negotiate and manage external partnerships, existing and new, that provide tools to attract, engage, and promote diverse talent
• Build a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, understanding how innovation trends affect our business and culture ensuring PayPal will continue to be a leader at the forefront of employee experience, diversity and inclusion
• Support all of the regional activities of our D&I communities (affinity groups), provide guidance, and continue to connect them back to our overall D&I strategy and goals.

Requirements
• 8+ years of global diversity experience
• Skilled at translating data and analytics to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions and measure impact
• Demonstrated experience articulating a vision, translating it into executable strategy and driving cross-functional teams to deliver against the plan
• Skilled in translating external and internal trends into innovative and creative practices
• Proven track record of facilitating enterprise-level initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders, globally (Executive Leadership Team, Leadership Committees and other business leaders).
• Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) exhibited at all levels within an organization
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop effective relationships with peers and leaders across an organization
• Keen ability to drive change: to transform, align and inspire in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications
• High consciousness of racial, gender and other diversity issues with strong knowledge of social power dynamics and ways to shift systemic inequities
• Heightened awareness of global and regional definitions and interpretations of D&I
• Ability to influence others; be agile and nimble
• Can manage through times of change
• Smiles and laughs out loud, often
