This candidate is responsible for driving our digital transformation efforts by informing, leading and implementing state of the art digital and marketing technologies by serving as the connection point between our primary users and decision makers in North America and our global product and engineering teams.

Whether looking for marketing tools that we can purchase or build in house, this candidate will have a deep understanding of the martech landscape and categories and providers within it. They will be a strategic partner to the regional marketing team in developing, coordinating, guiding and influencing the development of our marketing stack with product, operations, analytics, data technology, research and finance.

This candidate will deeply understand users needs and distill them into business requirements for the Product Managers and Engineers. They will also lead the planning, implementation and adoption of these platforms. They will work with NA Marketing to understand our strategic goals and priorities, while building solid business cases that inform product prioritization.  

This role will report to the Director of Campaign Ops and Marketing Technology for NA and will manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the expert on marketing technology needs in your region
  • Collect, distill, and communicate the top marketing technology needs and opportunities for NA
  • Optimize processes, successfully implement and adopt new marketing tools and platforms
  • Deeply understand our marketing technology stack and each platform’s purpose, value proposition, and roadmap
  • Actively participate in business requirements and serve as the key connection between product teams, primary users and internal stakeholders
  • Build solid business cases that inform product prioritization
  • Lead strategic development and implementation planning to ensure successful launches
  • Develop end-to-end operational strategies
  • Deeply understand implications on workflows and efficiencies gleaned by new implementations

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Marketing, Technology, Operations, Business Administration, or closely related field and eight (8) years of experience in the job offered.

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of product marketing, product management and/or consumer marketing experience, preferably in high-tech, financial services or commerce
  • 5+ years of software/technology experience
  • Management Experience
  • Deep experience of marketing technology solutions in areas like content management, ecommerce, digital marketing and analytics
  • Experience working effectively in a heavily cross functional, fast-paced environment, especially working across product, sales, research, data technology & consumer marketing teams, and with external agencies
  • Highly effective communicator, who interacts with clarity and purpose, and who has experience interacting at all levels of organization
  • Strategic thinker who understands the big picture but can also manage the tactical details
  • Bachelor’s Degree (MBA preferred)
