PayPal’s HR team is creating a new Employee Advocacy organization dedicated to the programs that care for employees as they encounter extraordinary events in and out of work. This team is responsible for policy development, policy interpretation, policy engagement and program management for a portfolio of employee assistance programs. The Employee Advocate collaborates closely with HRBPs, Legal, Employee Central and business leaders to provide advocacy to employees in need. We’re seeking culture champions, policy makers and program managers with extensive employee relations’ experience and adept inter-personal and influencing skills to join this exciting new team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and advocating for employees as they navigate complex, extraordinary events they are experiencing at work or in their personal lives through access to PayPal employee policies, programs and otherwise
  • Leading and/or participating in projects related to policy development and process improvement, partnering with Legal, Employee Central, Payroll and other experts
  • Managing end-to-end portfolio of global employee policies, programs & processes with nuanced jurisdictional requirements
  • Ensuring compliance and reporting rigor through case file preparation and management
  • Supporting the Legal team in implementing actions arising from complex or sensitive investigations
  • Travel required

  • 8 or more years in the area of Human Resources in a global organization
  • 6 or more years in the area of Employee Relations; specialist jurisdictional or functional expertise preferred
  • Experience working on a global scale


Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent experience
