As part of our team, the Senior Manager Employee Communications (Singapore & International Markets), will create and drive the employee communications strategy and culture for PayPal’s International Markets organization and our International headquarters in Singapore. This role will serve as the central point of contact for employee communications in the Asia Pacific region, developing and supporting global communications and engagement around PayPal’s vision, mission and priorities, and leveraging communications to build culture in our sites.  This individual will work closely with colleagues across the Corporate Affairs organization as well as members of the executive team – including site and functional leaders – to drive communications planning, content, and channel strategy to most effectively communicate and engage with our employees in Singapore, our International Markets, and around the globe. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Building culture and driving communications in our Singapore office, PayPal’s international headquarters
  • Developing and executing a communications strategy for employees across PayPal’s International Markets organization
  • Serving as the point of contact for central employee communications in the APAC region, in support of our global communications strategies and efforts. Develop communication strategies and plans to equip employees with the information they need to thrive, and engage and drive understanding around PayPal’s strategy, direction and values
  • Surfacing and communicating the stories that bring Singapore, APAC and International Markets to life for employees globally, via newsletters, intranet posts and communications
  • Supporting senior executive and global functional leaders’ communications priorities via All Hands and ongoing written executive communications
  • Managing employee communications channels for e-mail, video, newsletters, intranet and printed materials in close coordination with business partners
  • Partnering with leaders on projects and communications that impact the employee experience

Job Requirements: 

  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • 10+ years experience in a business communications environment, preferably gained within a fast paced, multinational environment
  • Experience supporting and advising senior executives
  • Experience proactively identifying communication needs and developing strategies and plans to address those needs
  • A creative approach to content and storytelling
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Sensitivity to cultural and regional differences in communications including style and spelling
  • The ability to prioritize and handle a variety of detailed tasks simultaneously and to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines
  • The ability to work independently and drive impact in a global team
  • Experience translating business strategy into communications strategy that is deployed globally
  • Experience with and appreciation for diverse cultures
  • Passion for innovation and communication
  • 10% business travel required for this role
