The PayPal Finance & GCO Operations team is seeking an experienced, highly engaged and dynamic Senior Manager to join our team. The team provides business operations support to the broader Finance and GCO organizations. This role will provide operations support and management on people development, culture and team building and event planning, as well as drive our employee engagement programs.

  • Manage professional development and employee engagement programs
  • Serve as a champion and change agent shaping the culture of the department.
  • Support the implementation/roll-out of Company programs and practices to the teams, promoting key leadership messaging.
  • Develop/execute cross-department training opportunities
  • Facilitate education on best practices, relevant knowledge tools and information resources.
  • Create self-help tools (documentation, toolkits, on-demand trainings/FAQs, etc.) to support knowledge management in the teams.
  • Event management.
  • Assist with team building exercises.
  • Support Operations with various ad hoc projects

  • Experience developing strategic or departmental planning materials that required consensus gathering from multiple constituents.  Strong business partnering skills.
  • An ownership mentality – sees tasks through to completion.  Goes the extra step to proactively seek out answers to problems that may fall outside his/her area of expertise. 
  • A demonstrated understanding of how to develop, implement, and enhance processes. Eager to learn new things and apply knowledge to innovate, improve/simplify processes. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required
  • 7+ years prior relevant experience.  Experience working with large, geographically dispersed team preferred
  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong writing skills.
