PayPal Checkout, the core payment businesses at PayPal, is looking for a talented, ambitious and self-motivated product manager to own and drive the best in class consumer payment products. The role will focus on developing and launching industry leading native payment experiences for iOS and Android mobile ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative consumer and merchant products.
  • Shared vision across the company, build consensus on priorities leading to product execution.
  • iOS and/or Android mobile app experience and expertise. Familiar with guidelines, capabilities and trends in mobile ecosystems.
  • Drive product development with a team of world-class engineers and designers.
  • Integrate usability studies, research and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction.
  • Identify market opportunities.  Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products.
  • Understand PayPal’s Checkout’s strategic and competitive position and deliver products that are recognized best in the industry.
  • Lead external conversations with 3rd party merchants and partners.

Qualifications

  • Business acumen with organizational and analytical skills;
  • 3+ years experience developing consumer facing products
  • Experience in developing products for mobile apps
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or extensive technological understanding.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment, and to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA Preferred but not required if strong track record of Product Management experience.
  • Knowledge of peer functional areas such as Engineering, UX/UI, Analytics, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Marketing.
  • Payments Industry Experience
