PayPal IAM team provides IAM services to the entire organization. The PayPal IAM team is on a multi-year to retire the highly customized, legacy IAM solution and replace with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM). The ideal candidate would be an OIM SME with understanding of least privilege enforcement across security zones.

Responsibilities of the Senior IAM Engineer will include:

  • Working with various organizations within Paypal to translate RBAC and Certification requirements into technical specifications
  • Developing the Identity management integration plan and framework for internal and external applications
  • Lead design reviews with technical staff and provide guidance on programming standards and best practices
  • Develop workflows to satisfy business requirements
  • Develop reports using BI publisher
  • Provide support to project managers in developing detailed project plans
  • Provide guidance to access administrators on best practices for RBAC engineering
  • Provide support coverage for the Identity Management platform
  • Troubleshoot the production environment
  • Unit Tests/ System Tests and Performance testing of the Identity Management System.
  • Coordinate with L1/L2 Support IAM teams

Required Skills

  • 7+ years’ experience in the following Oracle Products for Identity and Access Management: Oracle Identity Manager, Oracle Waveset, Oracle Identity Analyitics, Oracle Virtual Directory, Oracle Directory Server Enterprise Edition, Oracle Unified Directory
  • Background in the following: Oracle DB 11g, Tomcat, LDAP and tools, Java, JIRA, HTML, CSS, Workflow and Express
  • Basic understanding of other fusion middleware products (weblogic, OHS)
  • Design of high availability Identity management environments
  • Desired Skill in the following areas: RSA SecurID, SAML and WebServices, PingFederate, SiteMinder, Oracle Entitlement Server, Oracle Access Manager
