The Global Consumer Experience & Technology (CET) portfolio includes Braintree, Venmo, Xoom, and Hyperwallet. Our CET Finance Team is seeking to add an intellectually curious financial professional with strong business acumen. The Sr Financial Analyst will own top-line forecasting and monthly close activities, as well as conduct rigorous business analyses to provide insight and recommendations to support decision-making with key business partners.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial Forecasting: Construct and maintain financial models to predict short-term and longer-term trajectory for overall business
  • Financial Reporting: Partner with accounting and operations to successfully close books on monthly basis; understand and explain underlying drivers of monthly performance
  • Business Intelligence & Analytics: Analyze business data and translate to action-oriented insights that facilitate decision-making across business
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely and build alignment with BU partners as well as broader PayPal finance organization¬†

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of combined experience in corporate finance, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), investment banking, and / or management consulting roles
  • BA / BS in finance, economics, or other quantitative field; MBA or equivalent type of certification a plus
  • Enjoy solving business problems and experience constructing/managing complex financial models from scratch
  • Ability to work independently, deal with ambiguity, and meet deadlines in a fast moving environment focused on results
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and consensus building skills with key stakeholders across a complex, global organization
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to go the extra mile when required
  • SQL experience a strong plus
