We are looking for a highly motivated and strategic-minded Finance Analyst to join the Global Product Finance team. In this position, you will partner with the senior product leaders of PayPal to manage product forecasts, build business cases / financial models for key growth accelerators and prospective partnerships and lead analysis on key drivers of product performance. An ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced financial modeling skills, offer a strategic perspective and possess strong business acumen.

  • Develop strategic plans, annual financial budgets, and monthly forecasts for global product portfolio
  • Partner with regional and corporate finance teams to drive clear alignment for product–level financial plans and results
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Regional PMMs to build business cases, financial models, and presentations for new products and strategic initiatives and determine impact on P&L
  • Collaborate with analytics partners to define and analyze critical business and financial goals, metrics, and variances to drive accountability for product managers and influence critical decision making 
  • Work with other regional and cross-functional teams including Accounting, Treasury, Risk, and Analytics to deliver valuable insights and recommendations

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related
  • 5+ years of professional related experience, preferably in fintech, financial services, or e-commerce industries
  • Excellent written, presentation, and oral communication up to the senior executive level
  • Experience building and maintaining complex financial models using large sets of data (SQL experience preferred), developing and using financial modeling tools and financial statement construction
  • Highly accountable, with ability to independently lead and coordinate complex projects across multiple subject and functional areas
  • Ability to operate in a highly complex cross-functional matrixed organization structure to drive direction, decision making, and priorities
  • Ability to quickly learn and ramp up in new subject matters to drive relevancy to stakeholder interactions
  • Experience in Oracle Essbase, Teradata, and/or equivalent financial systems preferred
