You will be part of the North America Finance & Analytics organization, supporting PayPal’s largest P&L. We focus on the success of PayPal’s North America business unit by driving quantitative insights and serving as business advisors to the organization

We are looking for a highly analytical individual to deliver quality business analyses & insights for PayPal NA.


Key Responsibilities Include:


  • Develop a deep understanding of PP North America economic model and dentify key business levers, establish cause & effect, perform analyses and communicate key findings to various stakeholders to facilitate data-driven decision-making
  • Provide financial insight and support for pricing approvals, revenue analysis, and business development initiatives
  • Support the development of strategic plans, annual financial budgets, and monthly forecasts with data driven insights
  • Work closely with North America Business Unit, on building business cases, financial models, pricing proposals and sales support to determine impact on business unit and P&L
  • Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial modeling, and business case development

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years progressive experience in financial/business analytics role
  • World-class analytical skills to help glean simple-to-understand insights from complex data sets
  • Superior relationship-building and influence management skills in interactions with senior leaders, peers, business partners
  • Solid business acumen, which means you can think strategically and ‘big picture,’ but can balance that with a strong pragmatic streak
  • Intellectual curiosity and flexibility…PayPal is in a dynamic, rapidly changing industry so a track record in similarly fluid industries will be a plus
  • Experience in medium/large company environment, ideally technology/e-commerce, or financial institutions a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA/ Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative field preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in large database manipulation through standard access tools, such as SQL and budget/reporting tools (Essbase, Longview, Microstrategy, Business Objects, Tableau)
  • Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables a must
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and juggle competing priorities
