As the Sr. Director, PayPal Credit Products you will create the vision & product strategy and lead development & execution of the product enhancements/capabilities/features/functions across our global, Consumer facing product portfolio. Working closely with Product Solutions and regional leaders, you will build innovative products, develop features/capabilities, and create market-leading value propositions that differentiate PayPal Credit and deferred payment products across the globe. You will work closely with and in service of our Customer Experience, Design, Platform, and engineering teams to deliver a diverse and competitive product set.

You should be a thought leader in credit and deferred payments, comfortable setting direction and strategy across a wide range of constituencies, have experience leading a global initiative portfolio, and have consultative & relationship-building skills for use with partners both internal and external to PayPal.

This is a critically important role as PayPal Credit works to reimagine our relationship with Customers. This is an opportunity for the right person to create industry leading products on a global platform, ultimately shifting industry dynamics.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Synthesize and drive a 3-year product strategy, working closely with the leadership team, design, product solutions, and engineering to deliver a thorough plan that captures market opportunity
  • Deliver a product roadmap that fulfills on that vision, including prioritization, initiative sequencing, and launch of innovative products
  • Deliver products with innovative and market leading value propositions, capabilities, and features/functions
  • Work with business leaders and Product Solutions to identify and launch market/segment-specific products that capture local opportunities, increase Customer trust, and ensure compliance
  • Ensure that the scope, business case and success metrics for initiatives are well defined, understood and measured
  • Grow and manage a team of intellectually curious and high performing CPOs
  • Partner with customer experience, platform product managers, and engineering teams to rapidly deliver compliance and market ready products/ capabilities
  • Own 3rd party partner integration strategies & performance


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 10 year’s experience in product management and leadership, ideally in commerce, credit, or payments; Passion for delivering great products
  • Proven experience in setting vision/strategy and leading execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Thought leadership across several critical partnerships & constituencies: Product Solutions, Customer Engagement, Platform, PMO, Go-to-Market, and Engineering
  • Accomplished leadership of Product and Engineering teams across a dispersed geographical footprint
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a business discipline
  • Previous entrepreneurial experience or MBA is preferred
