Lead the coordination of GCO readiness for product, marketing, strategic and other corporate change initiatives that have the potential to drive customer contacts, back office volume requiring teammate awareness and support. The Director/Sr. Director will lead readiness efforts of top strategic initiatives as well as M&A planning and execution. This role will lead an intake team within GCO to drive impact assessment, communication, stakeholder management and operational coordination insuring successful end-to-end integration across all functions of GCO.


  • Conduct impact assessment and understand the change impact to customers and teammates for strategic priorities, corporate change initiatives and product / marketing changes.
  • Identify and coordinate the optimal readiness components for desired change.
  • Proactively and routinely engage appropriate partners and stakeholders across varied geographies, locations and functions teams in communications and planning. 
  • Track and manage events and commitments in a single repository as a source of tracking and coordination.
  • Create an inclusive and results-driven culture and environment in concert with PayPal vision, mission and values
  • Partner with GCO Platform Services PMO for planning and launch management. 
  • Engage in M&A support including due diligence assessments and providing support of integration events

Skill Set:

  • Proven record of successfully leading significant, concurrent, high volume change initiatives with time sensitivity.
  • Deep understanding of the product and marketing portfolio, stakeholder groups and internal / external business landscape.
  • Ability to achieve results through others. 
  • Customer support and product acumen – Good understanding and ability to navigate the customer support verticals and strong PayPal product development knowledge.
  • Understand the impact of change to customers and teammate. Can identify optimal readiness components for the change
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral, ability to communicate effectively cross-functionally, present and speak to different levels of the business.
  • Possess the ability to build and leverage relationships with different areas of the business and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Good  knowledge of project and program management principles, processes, tools/technology, templates and management techniques


  • Multiple vertical experience strongly preferred
  • 12-15+ years related global business leadership experience in Financial Services, FinTech and/or other related industry
  • 7-10+ years leading global teams of various size and scale.  Executive networking, accountability and partnership strongly preferred.
  • Previous GCO experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.  Masters preferred
  • Ability to travel 30% required

This position can be filled at a Director or Senior Director level.
