The right candidate is a self-motivated individual with strong skills in risk & compliance, risk assessment, project management, and relationship management. This role requires a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and manage multiple competing priorities with difficult deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have experience in regulatory banking compliance and/or financial services risk management.

Support implementation of compliance program; including, but not limited to:

Assessment of regulatory risk

Conducting testing and monitoring

Remediation of issues

Oversight and development of controls, polices and standard operating procedures

Maintain compliance program through:

Providing guidance to business partners relating to the development of controls for critical business processes to mitigate compliance/operational risk

Execution of the compliance risk assessment schedule

Supporting ongoing and targeted compliance monitoring and/or testing

Providing ongoing support of business unit’s issue management and remediation efforts

Support the Risk and Compliance Officer (RCO) leadership in the management and execution of the Credit Program.

Handle both proactive and reactive needs arising from additional oversight and manage corresponding take away items.

Must have a strong understanding of related regulatory requirements and testing design, management and execution.

Participate in projects and provide support to team members as needed.


•Experience with consumer protection, financial crime, privacy, information security, and/or money transmitter regulations and regulatory expectations desired.

•Demonstrated ability in informally influencing stakeholders to achieve projects within compliance or risk.

•Proven ability to develop effective, matrixed, cross-organization relationships, collaborating and communicating across business and technology stakeholders and multiple geographies.

•Advanced analytical, cross-referencing and deductive reasoning skills.

•Excellent project management, organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

•Skill in focusing on desired results, determining what is important and urgent, and clarifying next steps.

•Ability to analyze risks in complex business processes, and recommend controls to mitigate those risks.

•Thrives working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and able to make sound decisions under pressure.

•Ability to collaborate across levels, organizing and motivating others, including those who are in more senior positions.

•Must display a high level of professional judgment, commitment, integrity, teamwork, and customer service.
