We offer a secure, fast and inexpensive means of sending money, paying bills and topping up prepaid services across multiple digital platforms to both online and offline recipients around the world. We are currently looking for a technical software engineer in quality assurance. As a QA Engineer, you will collaborate with other QA Engineers, Software Developers and Product Managers to release bug free code to production.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze product requirements, create test plans, and identify deliverables

• Execute testing tasks, isolate problems, report bugs, and regress and close bugs

• Write test status reports and escalate issues as appropriate

• Proactively solve problems and suggest process improvements

• Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk

• Work with development and test engineers to identify test cases to be automated

• Execute manual testing of all new features

• Approve bug free code to be released to production environments

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast-paced software industry with an excellent understanding of QA methodology testing complex projects from test planning through production launch

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Solid working knowledge of Web Applications

• Ability to document and track defects, as well as produce detailed reports using defect tracking tools

• Familiarity with software development life-cycles

• UNIX and SQL experience required

• Must have a BS Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent

• Working understanding of database concepts

• Agile experience is desired

• Have been working in both Mac and Unix environments

• Team player, able to deal with conflict, handle ambiguity, quick learner, and work with minimal supervision
