The Staff Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing the test strategy for our consumer onboarding through web and native apps. This encompasses a variety of features such as testing the web flows, system emails, platform/service APIs and logging & instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

Architect and develop C.I. infrastructure, automation and monitoring progressive platform. 

Devise test plans and test cases that are automated for regression execution.

Increase and maintain automated test coverage.

Define, measure and report on coverage metrics and test objectives.

Set up and Support environments for testing.

Work with multiple partners/teams and lead projects to delivery.

Report defects in a timely fashion and work with the Development team to manage defects until issues are resolved.

Proactively create test cases for the known defects and integrate them into the test suite.

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related degrees.

5+ years of quality engineering experience with a solid knowledge of industry standard processes, protocols, tools, and methodologies.

Expert working knowledge in at least two of the following automated testing tools:  Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, JMeter, Nemo.

Good experience with XCode / Android Studio IDE

Strong programming fundamentals and analytical skills with testing web applications.

Proficiency administering Unix-based platforms

Strong communication skills with the ability to understand and explain complex technical issues.

Experience in version control concepts and tools for release management (e.g., GIT or Maven Repository).

Experience with development best practices including agile processes, testing methodologies (white-box, black-box, unit, integration), continuous integration, Jenkins as well as web browser specific testing and tools.

Experience in leading the development of test plans, including interfacing to multiple technical teams and running test plan reviews.

Preferred Requirements:

Experience in the payments industry would be a plus.
