The Mobile Software Engineer in Quality will be responsible for developing test automation infrastructure and framework for PayPalHere web application. This encompasses a variety of features such as testing web on-boarding, performance and instrumentation

Responsibilities

.  Architect and develop C.I. infrastructure, automation and monitoring for web apps. 


•  Build and maintain CI, ECI.

. Lead quality engineer on web application and lead engineering team in expanding test automation.

.  Build monitoring, alerts and information radiators. 


•  Lead and hold other engineers accountable for technical quality measurements


•  Partner with PM and engineer on deliverable plans and quality commitments


•  Define, measure and report on coverage metrics and test objectives.


•  Set up and Support environments for testing.


Requirements


•  Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related degrees.


•  5+ years of quality engineering experience with a solid knowledge of industry standard processes, protocols, tools, and methodologies.


•  Expert working knowledge in at least two of the following automated testing tools:  Selenium, JUnit, JMeter. TestNG, Jacoco


•  Experience in Object Oriented Programming experience in Java, C/C++ or Objective C.  


•  Experience in scripting languages, like JavaScript, Perl, Python or Ruby. Node js


•  Proficient in getting around Integrated Development environments (Eclipse, xCode, Android Studio).


•  Experience in version control concepts and tools for release management (e.g., Subversion, GIT, and Maven Repository.


•  Experience in developing unit / Integration level white-box tests that exercise our middleware and frameworks at the API level.


•  Experience with development best practices including agile processes, testing methodologies (white-box, black-box, unit, integration), continuous integration, Jenkins as well as mobile specific testing approaches and tools.


•  Experience in leading the development of test plans, including interfacing to multiple technical teams and running test plan reviews.


•  Team player, pragmatic, self-starter, process-driven and results oriented.


Bonus Points


•  Experience in the payments industry would be a plus.


•  Knowledge on EMV or Experience is testing EMV payment solutions would be a plus.
